Insulated door panels
The door leaf is a sandwich panel: a dense XPS insulating core between tough skins of aluminium, HPL or PVC. The panels are made from German COSMO sandwich panels by Weiss Chemie, tested by ift Rosenheim, MPA NRW and CSTB.

Inserted panel
The panel sits inside the sash, like glass. 40–44 mm thick, U 0.8 W/m²K.

Panel over the outside
The decorative panel covers the whole outside of the door, hiding the frame. 54 mm, U 0.62 W/m²K.

Panel on both sides
Flush panels inside and out for the cleanest look, with a 70 mm toughened glass unit. 76 mm, U 0.5 W/m²K.

GEZE door closers
TS 1500 or TS 2000, optionally with hold-open (adjustable 70–150°).

Thresholds and hinges

Handles

Yes. Removing your old windows, installing the new ones and cleaning up afterwards are part of the job. Your detailed quote lists exactly what's included.
PVC or aluminium: which is better on the coast?
Both work well on the coast. PVC generally insulates better and needs very little maintenance. Aluminium with thermal break allows slimmer frames and larger panes, which suits big openings and a modern look.
At the free survey we look at your home, its orientation and your budget, and recommend the right option.
What is solar control glass and do I need it?
Solar control glass has a coating that reduces the heat coming in through the glass while still letting light through. On south- and west-facing windows in southern Spain it can make rooms noticeably more comfortable in summer. It can be combined with low-emissivity glass in the same double-glazed unit.
Do I need a permit to replace my windows?
It depends on your town and your building. Changing the look of the facade — colour, material or how the window is divided — often needs approval from the community of owners, and some town halls require a notification or licence for this kind of work.
We'll advise you during the survey, but the final responsibility for permits lies with the owner.
Why are there no window prices online?
Every window is different: size, opening type, glass and profile all change the price. After a free survey and measurement we send you a detailed written quote for each opening.
Can you fit fly screens at the same time?
Yes. If you're replacing windows, we can measure for plissé fly screens in the same visit and install everything together.
